Lessons from Father Pio

St. Pio of Pietrelcina was the first priest to receive the stigmas of the crucifixion. He is known worldwide as stigmatized "friar."
Padre Pio, to whom God gave particular gifts and charisms, insisted with all his strength in the salvation of souls.

The many testimonies about the great sanctity of the friar reach our days, accompanied by feelings of gratitude. His providential intercessions with God were for many men cause of healing of the body and reason for renewal of the spirit.

Some teachings of Padre Pio that will "shake" your life:

1. Do not worry about tomorrow. Do good today.

2. If Jesus makes us this happy on Earth, what will it be like in Heaven?

3. If fear leaves you distressed, exclaim as Saint Peter: "Lord, save me!" He will reach out to you: squeeze it tight and walk happily. ”

4. Try to always do better: today better than yesterday, tomorrow better than today.

5. If the devil does not sleep to lose us, Our Lady does not abandon us even for a moment.

6. When you waste your time, you despise the gift of God, the gift that He, infinitely good, abandons to your love and generosity.

7. Be like little spiritual bees, who carry only honey and wax to their hive. That, through your conversation, your house is full of docility, peace, concord, humility and piety.

8. Always do good, so they will say: "This is a Christian." It supports tribulations, diseases, pains for the love of God and for the conversion of poor sinners.

9. A convert expressed fear of falling again. Padre Pio told him: “I will be with you. Do you think, my son, that I would drop a soul that I raised again? Go in peace and have confidence. ”

10. Who has time does not wait for time. Let's not leave for tomorrow what we can do today. The graves are overflowing with good deeds left for later ... And besides that, who tells us that we will live until tomorrow? Let us listen to the voice of our conscience, the voice of the prophet: "If you heard the voice of the Lord today, you would not want to close your ears." We must be reborn and accumulate only the riches that belong to us, remembering that only the moment that escapes is in our domain. We cannot insert time between one moment and another, because it does not belong to us.
