Peace and all good
"Peace and Good" is the greeting today widespread among the Franciscans, motto and hallmark, a phrase often associated with Francis and his followers.
From the story of the Three Companions: «As Francis himself later testified (Test 23), he had learned, by divine revelation, this greeting:" The Lord give you peace! " Therefore, in all his preaching he began his words with the greeting announcing peace.
And it is to be admired that before his conversion he would have been announcing peace, saying for Assisi frequently: "Peace and good, peace and good!"
