Saint Francis, hoping that his brothers would never be iddle, had his prayers as such an important part of his life. About this, Celano wrote "And Francis would not only prayed, but he became the prayer himself"
"Then, my brothers, let's set ourselves aside from the Lord. And let's adore Him with a pure heart, since we shall pray always, and not dispair" (1 R 22)
